Clemson has some serious TALENT AHEAD OF THE Draft
Confidence doesn’t always arrive with a bold entrance. Sometimes, it builds quietly, step by step, as Clemson could hear its name called early and often tonight, with Peter Woods, Avieon Terrell, and T.J. Parker all entering the 2026 NFL Draft as projected first round talent. CBS Sports recently listed Woods, Terrell, and Parker as top 20 players in this class, while several late mock drafts still have Clemson defenders landing on Day 1 boards.
Woods looks like the headliner of the group. The Clemson defensive tackle has consistently shown up in Round 1 projections, including ESPN and Yahoo mock coverage, and he brings the kind of strength and burst that teams love in the middle of a defensive front. Terrell has also stayed in the first round mix as a corner with strong coverage skills, while Parker has remained one of the more intriguing edge rushers in the class because of his explosiveness and pass rush upside.
If all three go in the first round, it would be another huge draft night for Clemson and another reminder of the program’s ability to produce NFL level talent on defense. Even with some late uncertainty in mock drafts, the Tigers have three names that scouts and analysts clearly view as first round caliber prospects heading into tonight.
